Why is the binding machine 'Intelligent'? How does the Intelligent binding machine work? How many pages can I bind? Can I bind more than one document at a time? How strong is the bound document? You can only use steel spine covers on the Unibind binding machines. Can I trade my Unibind binding machine in for the new Intelligent Binding Machine. How easy is the bound document to file?
Will the book become damaged if its paper is put under the welding bar? Do I have to turn the Colibri machine off when I’m not using it? Can I move the machine easily? Two rollers are used to gently “pull” the plastic material after the heat welds it. There are no blades or other sharp objects used in the system. Step 1. Prepare the document you would like to bind
Choose the appropriate sized iQ Cover (based on how many pages in your document)
Step 4. Turn on the Binding Machine (the light turns green)
Step 5. Turn the Rotary Switch on the front of the machine to correspond with the cover you are using.
Step 6. Place your iQ Cover into the Binding Machine (The light turns red)
Step 7. Wait for the Heating Cycle to finish (The buzzer sounds, light turns green and the Binding Machine stops heating automatically)
Step 8. Lift your iQ Cover out of the Binding Machine and place it on the cooling clamp.
